A challenging cache to find at least one cache on each day of the year.
Who can find a cache for each of the 365 days of a year, plus the extra day for leap year? Lets find out...
The physical cache is a pretty quick P&G, it is on private property (mine). The difficult rating reflects the difficulty in finding the caches to fulfill this challenge. The terrain rating and the attributes are for the physical cache itself.
General Rules:
1. Generally accepted rules, guidelines, and conditions for logging a find apply … all finds must be caches listed on geocaching.com that you have personally (physically) found.
2. Caches from any state or country are permissible as long as they are listed on geocaching.com
3. To complete this challenge you must find a cache each day of the 366 days calendar (365 days plus one for Feb 29th). Since leap year is not always easy, I will allow specific substitutions for Leap Day. (An Ape cache, a Mega Event, a GPS Adventures Cache, or the Groundspeak HQ cache), but you must specify which cache type you are using for your substitution. Also you cannot use your substition for any other date. This is not a find all in one year challenge. Cache finds from previous years are acceptable as well as future finds. If you can do this cache in one year or less great! If it takes 2 or 3 then so be it.
4. Previous cache finds count, so you do not have to start from scratch.
5. This cache does NOT count as a find in the run. You must find 366 caches before qualifying for this cache.
6. If you have multiple finds on a single cache, only the first find date counts. You will need to find 366 different/unique caches.
7. Logs that have been edited are discouraged. Only a maximum of 10 edited logs for finds after the publish date of this cache are allowed. Finds on or previous to the publish date of this cache are exempted. (This is to discourage changing find dates, but also to keep people in current streaks from being penalized.)
8. Finds of previously archived caches are permissible only if they were archived less than 3 days before your find. (Meaning you did not know that they were archived at the time).
9. Caches that you own through adoption, can be used only if you found them before you adopted them.
10. If others are with you when you find the final, only those who have fulfilled all the criteria for this cache will be allowed to log the cache as a find.
11. FTF credit goes to the person who completes the challenge first, NOT who finds the physical cache first!
Rules For Logging This Cache:
1. The first step for someone in logging the final is to send me an e-mail telling me that you are finished with the required finds/dates. Make sure that I have your caching name so that I can check your statistics and verify your finds.
2. I will send you an e-mail confirming that you have met the requirements.
3. Then, and ONLY then should you go find and log the physical cache. Anyone not following steps 1 and 2 before logging the find will have their log IMMEDIATELY deleted.
However, feel free to post notes about accepting the challenge, your progress, etc.
