The NoBucksRanch family has been involved with Taekwon-Do for several years. In addition to the tenets of the martial arts, we find it a great way to stay in shape, to have fun, and to meet new people (similar to geocaching but you get to kick people in the head!).

There are several different styles of Taekwon-Do. We study the traditional version using the Chang-Hon Patterns. During our training we have learned lots of really cool moves including:

1 Punch
2 Knifehand Guarding Block
3 Front Kick (Snap kick)
4 Twin Forearm Block
5 Elbow Strike
6 Jumping Side Kick
7 Back Fist
8 Hook Kick
9 Hammerfist

These moves and many others can be seen in the various patterns that one learns as they advance through the ranks and earn new belts (as seen in the table below):
