Lake Parramatta is located in the Hunts Creek catchment. The lake was created in 1855 when a masonry dam was built as a source of freshwater. Today, a beautiful walk exists around the lake. This cache is located near a rock platform that provides a terrific vista of the lake.
There has previously been another cache in the vicinity of this location which disappeared. It is hoped that this one will remain. To assist with this, please ensure that it is replaced exactly as you found it. Please also be wary of muggles who might be sunning themselves on the rock platform. The cache is a square plastic container containing a Geocoin, an assortment of foreign currency, a Digital Clock, a Justin Bieber singing pen, some badges, a log book and a pencil.
