A couple of fellow staff members have reported seeing wild turkeys in this site. They are usually seen earlier in the morning so this may be a site to try on a nice morning.

2011 marks the 40th anniversary for the McHenry County Conservation District. The site this cache is located was the first site purchased by the Conservation District in 1973 and consisted of 50 acres. It is now 283 acres and is one of the better spots for trout fishing – it is stocked annually at the end of March.
