Nachtcache / Night cache
Dauer ca. 40 Minuten - 1 Stunde inkl. Rückweg. / Takes 40 minutes - 1 hour incl. return.
Der Name Blinde Kuh kommt von der Bezeichnung Kuhheide für diese schöne kleine Heidelandschaft am Eingang zum Naturpark Föhrenberge. Heutzutage findet man dort aber keine Kühe mehr, dafür aber Schafe und einen schönen Blick über Wien.
Es handelt sich hier um einen Nachtcache! Taschenlampe notwendig! Feste Schuhe empfohlen!
Parken könnt ihr bei diesen Koordinaten:

Achtung: der Parkplatz ist gebührenpflichtig, theoretisch auch in der Nacht! Abends ist es aber möglich in der Nähe einen anderen Parkplatz zu finden.
Außerdem ist die Anreise mit öffentlichem Bus vom Bahnhof Wien Liesing und Mödling möglich (bis ca. Mitternacht - Stand Juli 2011)

Folgt nun den Reflektoren bis zum Cache.
Achtung: an manchen Stellen ist der Weg etwas abschüssig.

Um zum Parkplatz zurückzukehren ist es am Besten, den Weg zurück zu gehen und ihm bis zur Straße zu folgen, dort links.

The cache is called „Blinde Kuh“ (blind cow, a well-known game for children) because of the name „Kuhheide“ (cow’s heathland), as this nice small heathland is called. Nowadays there are no more cows but sheep and a nice view over Vienna.
This is a night cache! Flashlight required! Hiking shoes recommended!

Attention: you have to pay for this parking place, theoretically also at night! However, you can look for a parking space somewhere around. And it’s also possible to reach the place by public bus from Wien Liesing or Mödling (until around midnight – as of July 2011)

Now follow the reflectors until you reach the cache.
Attention: sometimes the path is a bit steep.

To get back to the parking we recommend to take the same way back until you reach the street. There you should turn left and follow the street downwards.
