This cache is part of a series involving caches placed near park land.

Introducing this cache that is near the Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park, but not on park land, called Gamecock Brigade, Within a Stone's Throw.

This general area was the location MG George Pickett's unit (Lee/Longstreet) held in the Spring of 1863 in defense of Fredericksburg prior to continuing North to Gettysburg and his fateful July Charge. His unit was called the Gamecock Brigade.
