A hydro electric plant built in 1904 still operates on site. This is a registered historic site with a museum,
General Store, Salt Box House, Forge, Full Scale Water Wheel, Newfoundland Pony Barn Museum and Newfoundland Ponies.
Cache is located on a small trail that is located just to the left of the powerhouse. Follow the trail directly to the cache. Park near the powerhouse to find the trail. Do not take the road past the powerhouse. Only about a 5 minute walk to the cache. 2.5 terrain is listed as the site of the cache could be difficult to get to. Happy hunting.
