Mahlons Playground Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Meckes: Went to check on it, and it is still there. I was always very proud of this geocache, and if you took the time to use a compass, do a 30 second math problem, it was pretty easy. Unfortunately everybody that posted DNF's probably were not familiar with the magnetic mini container. Majority of DNF's were by newer cachers, that most likely never saw the container. Quite honestly, even though this may have been my favorite cache, it is just not worth the hassle anymore of going to check on it.

Geocache Description:

This is my favorite park just to relax and hang out...You will need a compass, and good eyesight to find this cache !!!!!
Parking will be difficult on any day. You need to park near the train station, Carbon County Court House, US Post Office, or on Broadway. You will then walk behind the Court House and up the hill towards the Mansions.

Near the center of the park you will find a "telescope." Looking thru the telescope in a southwest direction (206 degrees) and you will see the cache location. To find the distance to cache, multiply the number of park benches that you see from the lookout, by the number of individual swings that you see from the lookout. Number of benches x number of swings = Total paces to cache !

Coordinates are of the telescope location.
