One of the very few easy G&G's that you will see me plant.
This cache is located in the public commons next to the St. Clairsville/Belmont County Courthouse. I have placed this cache for a few reasons. Number one, we often take for granted that this building acts as the heart of our Judicial System here in Belmont County. This building is magnificent and many of us pass it every day without giving it a second glance. Secondly, the cache is placed very near to the Veteran's Memorial, honoring any and all U.S. Veterans from our entire county... Again, often overlooked, and it shouldn't be. Lastly, those of you who have done research will also be able to log a benchmark from visiting this location, as well as view one of the county's original milestones and more. This is an interesting location to those who make the most of it! A big thanks to the employees of Belmont County, as well as our elected Comissioners, who worked hard to understand Geocaching and to allow this to be placed.
Cache contains all necessary items and some small trades. Stealth may be necessary - If the Courthouse Employees are on lunch, this area can become crowded. It will also be difficult during the Farmer's Market set up here at times during the Spring/Summer. Please secure the cache from view, as this can be a heavy traffic area.
