This event
is taking place in Lakeland Park near where Roy made his first
cache find on July 1, 2001, Connetquot
River Park Cache (GC5F9).
Roy placed and maintained his 66 caches with a passion, that is
unparallelled here on Long Island. He will be sorely missed!
Of course, ALL are Welcome to join us. If you may not have
personally known Roy, come join us and hear some stories of him.
You're apt to learn some new things about geocaching and why Roy
loved to play this game.
Time: 1pm to whenever in the picnic area to be determined when
the permit is obtained.
We'll have a potluck picnic and if you want to contribute, below

The event coords will bring you to the parking area. We will post
the picnic site coords when they become available.
Please be sure to post a will attend with the number expected,
since the park permit fee is determined on the number
