This old station is on the main western railway line and the line is still in use even though the station isn't.
The cache is nowhere near the edge of the platform and you do not have to cross the line or go anywhere near the railway line to find it. Please take care of small children as good trains can move along quickly.
If you would like a better view up or down the line please use the stairs and the overhead bridge.
The description is courtesy of JABS who placed the original cache on the station.
PLEASE DON'T POST SPOILER LOGS OR PHOTOS
Tarana Railway Station was opened 22-Apr-1872 and is found 198.300 km from Sydney. It is well maintained and largely intact. The only item missing is the goods shed. It contains a fine example of a station/residence in combination with a range of interesting supportive structures. The station forms one of the best station complexes surviving from the early period of railway construction.
The cache is a nano, as anything larger seems to disappear.
