This cache is along the Creek Crossing trail before you get to the East Ridge trail. It is at a rest stop bench and named for the windy trail view to the east.
We have placed this cache so it can be accessed from the trail/bare dirt area. You don't need to go tromping on the vegetation. Please place it back as you found it -- maybe even a little better? It is a quart sized container with camo tape on the outside and some swag on the inside. In its current iteration the container is 35mm sized.
We got here by parking in the dirt lot at the top of La Honda Drive and then following the Creek Crossing trail immediately to your right as you head up Ranch House. Grab a map at the parking lot info kiosk if you need one.
Bring water, something to write with, and in case of an emergency a cell phone; you'll be about a half a mile from the car. Be sure to also bring info on the other caches along the way and in the area so you can make it a more productive hike. And check out Frank's Daley Ranch Roundup Challenge.
