HR: Ovaj trg se nekoć zvao Akademički trg, zbog zgrade današnje Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti (HAZU) koja se nalazi na njemu. 1926 god. je postavljen spomenik Josipu Jurju Strossmayeru, a dvije godine kasnije trg i mijenja ime u Trg J.J. Strossmayera. Na Trgu, a u neposrednoj blizini cachea još možete naći poprsja Augusta Šenoe i Dragutina Domjanića, te prema jugu, spomenik "Strijeljani" kipara Frana Kršinića podignut u sjećanje na žrtve Narodnooslobodilačke borbe. Trg je dio veće urbanističke cjeline poznatija po imenu "Lenuzzijeva potkova" (ili "Zelena potkova"), koja se sastoji od niza trgova i perivoja u strogom centru Zagreba, a koji su posloženi u obliku slova U, tj. potkove. EN: This square used to be called Academy Square, because the Croatian academy of art and science is situated there. In 1926. a monument to Josip Jurij Strossmayer was erected, and two years after, the name of the square is changed to "J.J. Strossmayer Square". In the vicinity of the cache you can also find busts of August Šenoa and Dragutin Domjanic, as well as big monument "Executed" by sculptor Fran Kršinic, in memory of victims of WW2. This square is a part of a bigger urbanistic entity known as "Lenuzzi horseshoe" (or "Green horseshoe") which consists of a row of squares and parks in the centre of Zagreb, which are shaped in the letter "U", or horseshoe.
