This tree is one of my favorite spots to sit and think. This cache is accessible all year. However, if caching during the winter it may be difficult to reach due to snow. Also please turn around near the tree or nearby Sportsman's Club building. Please do not follow the road to the end, as it becomes someone's driveway, and the owner would not appreciate the traffic. MUGGLE WARNING: this area can be a very hot fishing spot!
I had thought about naming this cache for a friend of mine. This cache is in memory of Ricky Ivan Holmquist, JR, 1992-2009. He loved to fish, and this lake always reminds me of him. Part of this tree acts like a chair, and is the perfect place to sit, while looking at the lake, and think. It is very peaceful with the sounds of the waves hitting the shoreline. Please take a moment to sit and ponder. Happy Caching!
