Geocache Description:

Here is in the Daigahara post town.

Cache point is in Hokuto city, Yamanashi prefecture.
In Edo period, the road that passed cache point side was an important highway named "Koshu Kaido".
There was post town of Koshu Kaido Highway named Daigahara was here.

Some buildings of an inn at that time remain it is. They are used as a shop now.

Cache is near the building where Emperor Mutsuhito took a rest.
The container is a small plastics container.

Please note it because it is a lot of places that the tourist visits on holiday.

キャッシュポイントは、山梨県北杜市にあります。
キャッシュポイント横を通る道は、江戸時代には甲州街道という重要な街道でした。
ここには、台ヶ原という甲州街道の宿場町がありました。

いまでも、当時の旅籠の建物がいくつか残っています。それらは現在は商店として利用されています。
山梨の銘酒「七賢」の醸造元、山梨銘醸や、「信玄餅」で有名な金精軒となっています。

キャッシュは、明治天皇が休憩したという建物の近くにあります。
その建物には、七賢の名前のもとになった「竹林の七賢人」の欄間があり、信州高遠藩から贈られた立川流のすばらしい彫刻です。

コンテナは小さなプラスチック容器です。

休日には観光客が多く訪れる場所なので、ご注意下さい。
