A cache and dash next to the Chelmsford Avenue wildlife garden and close to St Pius X Catholic Church. Cache is a magnetic nano.A high muggle area but a very quick and easy find! Watch out for students. Parking near the cache but please avoid the bus stop.
St Pius X Church:
A handsome brick church in the modern Romanesque style, serving a post-war housing estate. The broad west tower is a local landmark. This is one of a large number of churches built in the Diocese in the post-war
years by Reynolds & Scott. The interior was radically and successfully reordered by Peter Langtry-Langton in the 1990s.
The garden area has been taken over by local residents as part of Grimsby's Britian in Bloom project.
(There are currently 12 caches in the Church View series but only this one, Church View 1, 11 and 12 are available to those with Basic membership. If you want to find any of the others and don't have Premium membership, please get in touch and I will make them available to you for a time. Thanks)
