This cache was placed for the Okanagan Cache Fest held on Saturday September 10, 2011. Each cache placed for this event had Monopoly money placed in them so participants could race for points in order to win prizes. The Kelowna Geocaching Club would love to see you and your friends at the next Okanagan Cache Fest.
You are aloud to drive on this section of the KVR, just be aware that you can only go so far before you have to turn around due to an impassable washout or better yet, a trestle blocking larger vehicles. To get to the other side, drive up Chute Lake rd to the Gillard FSR. Pull over and park while you search for this cache in the bush. Here you can find some old metal cans sticking out of the ground.
