A magnetic cache located over the old Yatton to Clevedon branch line.
At the height of railway travel in the 1800s and early 1900s the Clevedon branch line ran from Yatton railway station to Clevedon. The 3.5miles branch line was opened on 28 July 1847 by the Bristol and Exeter Railway, which became part of the Great Western Railway in 1876.
This micro cache contains a log ONLY, please be careful when retriving and replacing the cache. Once you've retrived the cache smell your hand and you may recognise the smell from days gone by. The bridge is still covered in soot from the age of steam.
The cache is accessible for wheelchairs although assistance will be needed to retrieve the cache.
The road is wide enough to park nearby, please make sure you park sensibly as it can be a busy road.
