How Boulder You? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

k1ayman:
Checked on the cache and decided it's time for this one to go. Nearby home owner is making it awkward for cachers, which is counter to the spirit of the game. Boo.

13 years, 121 finds. Lots of "bold" stories shared.
In closing, I need to salute NavalAv8or for his epic BOLD story one more time:

Awesome Cache! It took me awhile to find it until I decided to trust the coords.
As for a bold move...
I was a part of the rescue of Capt Phillips from pirates off Somalia when the Mersk Alabama was pirated. I also rescued 42 personnel and delivered 50,000 lbs of food and water to the victims of the Tsunami in Indonesia.

Thanks to everyone who found the cache. Your smileys brought a smile to my face each and every time.

Geocache Description:

Seriously, how boulder you? Care to find out if you have what it takes to find this cache?

------------------------

UPDATE: 8/12/2022

A fence was built along the road that now blocks the easiest access but you can still walk around it about 50 yards down from the nearest parking to GZ. The rocks (and cache) are still considerable distance from any of the nearby residences so you can still search in peace.

------------------------

We've all experienced moments when our courage was challenged. Whether volunteering willingly or forced to make a split-second decision, bold moves are defined by bravery and fearlessness.

Find this cache then share a moment from your own life when you looked fear in the face and made a bold move. Your story doesn't need to be geocaching related but I imagine that it would be a good resource

Here are a few of my own bold stories:
1. I went skydiving for my golden birthday, jumping out of a plane at 15k feet!
2. To earn scuba certification, I participated in a shark dive where I was circled by 100s of sharks! When the two 13 footers showed up, I forgot all about the smaller ones and just tried to control my breathing.

The cache will remain active in the winter but you will probably need to dig for it, increasing the difficulty by 1.5 stars. Wear proper shoes, watch your footing and please re-hide with the sticker side down and out of sight.
