I didn't realise this road led straight to Cape York, the northern most point on mainland Australia.
Just a short distance of 2,763.18 kilometres in a straight line. I would imagine at least another 1,000 kilometres by road. I can't get Google to work that out.
If someone does start from here let me know the total distance and I'll update the cache page.
