Lake Emily Park in Portage County. The North Camp
Ground.
A beautiful park just down the road from Amherst Junction. Camping
for both RV and tents. Volleyball, baseball, soccer, Walking trails
and a very nice beach and swimming area. Use it as a base of
operations for caching on The Tomorrow River Trail. A great place
just to relax and enjoy the woods too.
While visiting my son, his wife and family while they were camping,
we noticed that there were no caches in the park proper. I
contacted the Ranger and he was well versed in Geocaching and
wondered why no one had placed a cache in the park as there are no
restrictions other than not placing it in a campsite.
Please replace the cache as found or better, that the
challenge remains the same for everyone. Above all, be safe and
have fun!!!
