Geocache Description:

***Extraction item required - see cache description***

WATER is the world's most important resource. All life depends on WATER. People and animals need WATER for drinking and WATER is essential for plants to grow. Did you know that a pineapple is 80% WATER compared to 95% for a tomato!! There are many other uses for WATER too. Can you think of any?

This cache is a simple micro set near a major pipeline that carries the elixir of life by gravity from Pymble to homes on the northern beaches. The best access is from Hunter Ave where it’s an easy walk in past the pipeline pictured above. There is a track (of sorts) that will take you to GZ.

You shouldn’t have too much difficulty locating the hide, however, the challenge and fun will lie in working out how you actually extract the cache container from its outer cover. The top of the outer cover might be a little tight but should just pop off. Please leave the outer cover secured as it is.

Now, geocachers are an ingenious bunch and I’m sure they will come up with numerous ways to get the cache out. I have constructed this hide with one particular extraction method in mind. It actually pops up quite easily and simply by itself, with this method. Hopefully the cache description and hint will indicate what you need to bring with you to extract this micro cache.

I would ask that you complete an online “found log” ONLY when you have followed the directions in the cache. Simply locating it is not sufficient.

** Please ensure the cap on the cache itself (not the outer container) is tightly fitted when you return it.

I hope you enjoy solving this little mystery.
