4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Sonny Rollins – The Bridge

Pulpit rock

This cache is named after tenor sax player Sonny Rollins’1962 album: The Bridge.

This is a landmark album and you MUST check it out BEFORE you attempt the cache.

Listen to "The Bridge" on grooveshark.com

Whilst this is not under Mt Henry Bridge, you can see the whole bridge from the cache. It contains a first-to-find memo, $1 each for the first 3 finds and a One Tiger Down guitar pick. Please put the lid on tightly.

Terrain: This is on an extremely steep incline. Don't do this cache if you're limbs are dodgy, if you're a child or if you're old. A fall from the cache's location will put you in hospital. The best way to approach this is through Aquinas, however it's not legal so you should come from the freeway bike path. The area is very nice, so no loss if you make the trek and decide not to ascend the hill.
