Oh give me a home, where the cachers can roam,
And the deer and the black bears they play.
Where caches are found, in this beautiful land,
And your gps will lead you the way.
Gnome, Gnome on the rage.
Who has placed many caches this way.
Bring a couple of meals, in your off roading wheels,
And play in this valley all day.
Below is the original description that I've decided to preserve. However, keep in mind that the cache no longer has a final series. This cache is now a cache on its own.
Please read all individual cache descriptions prior to searching, especially at the bottom of each description. The bottom may give some necessary information pertaining to the cache.
This series is designed for off roading vehicles. Some caches can be picked up by regular 2WD. Most of them are not so easy. Do not expect to come up here in your shiny new 4x4 and leave without any scratches on your truck. A number of these caches are accessed by old roads that have not been maintained and have small trees that a truck would have to drive over. Can you say "Bush Pig"? As far as fullsize 4x4 trucks, I have set up caches in areas that you can turn around in with the following exceptions: #1, #9, #10 and #33. Nine and ten also have a picture of a stuck truck between the two caches. Aside from these four, you should be able to drive to within 20 metres of every other Rage cache. If not, then something has changed since I hid it. This does not include my Squamish Valley Series. Bear spray, chains, tow straps, shovels and chain saws would be a good idea. But most of all be careful. Oh, and make sure you have a plug kit and a spare tire with you.
All caches are small containers which have been put into a freezer bag. Considering the likelyhood that children will not be visiting the caches so much, I have put in a logbook and pencil only. However, feel free to place an item if you wish.
I have set up two puzzle caches within this series. Not all caches have a clue inside them but they are simple puzzles. Collect the clues and put them in order to find the final coords.
Puzzle #1 has permanent clues (A-O) written on the lid of the container.
Puzzle #2 has clues (A-F) written on a small piece of cardboard inside a tiny ziploc bag. If you find one of these, you may move the clue to another cache within the series. This will increase the difficulty for future cachers.
Please post any new hazards that may impeded a truck. I.E. boulder or tree in the way. Also, for my own personal pleasure, please post many pictures of your adventure out here.
