As we stated in some of the earlier listings,there will be a treasure chest full of booty to the cachers that find all the other 9 pieces of 8,so be sure to add them all to your list of adventures to seek out the final chest.More details will be given later upon the final listing.
As for now,this piece was placed here on one of our best days caching in the Emlenton and Clarion area.There's nearby parking to the public all around here.There's also a nicely shaded spot where you can get a little education of the area and some of it's founding fathers.Steel wasn't the only thing that made PA famous.As we lingered here near the GZ,we were inspired by visions of what that area of the river must have looked like back in the oil boom.This was most likely a very busy port then,as is still today.The oil and iron barges have been replaced by kayakers,boaters,skiers,and fishermen.That goes a long way to look at how that river is still being used,but in a completely different guise.Back then it was all work,today,it's all play.That says alot to us about how Emlenton has developed,and will keep attracting people to her pristine waters.Bring a picnic lunch if you like.We hope everyone enjoys this cache as much as we enjoyed placing it here.
