This cache is alongside the Cowichan Valley Trail which is part of the Trans Canada Trail network. It's under a piece of forest debris and two small rocks at the base of a tree at an area where the trail 'widens'. Please rehide as found.
We made a trip out to check on our BC Parks 100 Years - Smokey's Pond cache and had a replacement with us, just in case. Since it was there, we decided to hide the replacement on the way back to the car, along the Cowichan Valley Trail.
