wagmorebarkless: Well, this one's time is over. It had a good run. We plan to place another cache in the general area, once all the work involving fences and giant earthmoving equipment is done.

This is a lovely and peaceful greenway. We hope you enjoyed walking along it. We enjoyed reading your logs and getting out to replace the container periodically [:D]

Geocache Description:

The container is a camouflaged micro with log only. The hide method gives it good camouflage, so please replace exactly as found.

Not quite a park-and-grab, the cache is located near the path known as Schenk’s Greenway.

Park near the recycling center, outside the gates, and take a walk along the path. While you’re there, note the garden areas full of drought-resistant plants, placed by the City of Charlottesville in an effort to raise awareness of sustainable landscaping.

Also note the interesting objets d’art along the path.

You may need to be stealthy if horticultural work is going on and/or people are walking dogs.
