hockeywrec: I couldn't believe all the downed trees on the path. A lot of logs and branches, that I wouldn't expect anyone to climb over, so I'm going to archive. I might have been on private property when I got down to GZ. There was no sign of the cache.

Geocache Description:

This area was my neck of the woods in my younger days.We spent a lot of time down at Lynde creek in the summer and winter. The gang would make forts, or we'd go swimming at the forks. In the winter, we'd skate all the way down to the 401 bridge to play hockey. We walked to Whiteface mountain, which was only a hill, and had our share of toboganning or skiing. After all the fun, we had to go home and deliver papers. What a life.
