Rumor has it there
is currently an alligator residing in this very canal. People have
reported seeing a gator between 3 and 23 feet long in the canal. We
are taking you to a bridge where you have a chance to catch a
glimpse of what has been referred to as "The Biltmore Monster." Cue
the scary music....
This one is intended to be a quick Park and Grab cache, as
parking for any amount of time around the GZ can be difficult. Your
best bet for getting the most out of this one is to make the quick
grab, scamper across the foot bridge, snap a few quick pictures,
and be on your way.
We are not one for putting people in a situation to be eaten by
a giant alligator, so we'll tell you up front that there is NO
REASON to go over the guard rails.
