Geocache Description:

Littleport is an unincorporated community and former city in Clayton County, Iowa, USA. After the Volga River flood of May 16, 1999, much of the town was destroyed and most residents moved away. At the 2000 Census, there were 26 residents. The city was officially disincorporated in 2005.

For such a small unincorporated community, they sure give a visitor a big welcome, and a nice adjacent area to play, rest, fish, and camp.

Every little community needs to welcome cachers with a cache nearby!

After finding the cache, see if you can spot the fossil remains on the sign!
