The National Tourist Route runs between Grotli and Videsæter and is 27 kilometres long.
The Høyfjellshotel in Grotli, in the end of the Tourist Route, is a good place for a break.
Historical Information:
Gamle Strynefjellsvegen is a piece of cultural heritage more than 100 years old. Between the mountain village of Skjåk and the fjord village of Stryn there were several ancient routes for the transport of people and essential goods. It was a strenuous and slow journey.
