Geocache Description:

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE "CUCKOO" FROM THE EGG....!

This cache is located in Cuckoo Lane in Ninapark. There are a few different meanings of the word cuckoo. Which one came to your mind when you saw the word? A bird? A clock? Someone who is crazy (coocoo)?
This one specifically refers to the bird. How do I know? The streets in this area all have bird names. An interesting fact or two about the cuckoo:

The cuckoo bird is found on all the continents of the world, except Antartica. One that you may be familiar with is the Red-chested cuckoo (Cuculus Solitarius). The Afrikaans folks will know the name“Piet-my-vrou”. It is famous for its call. You might have heard them call but not actually seen them – they are quite shy. The photo above might help.

The Cuckoo Clock dates back to somewhere between 1740 and 1750 and were originally made in the Black Forest. There is a museum called the Cuckooland Museum in Tabley, Cheshire, England which has over 600 cuckoo clocks.

No place for tradables. Please bring own pen. The owners of the house nearby are not cachers but know about the cache.
