Yes, it's the third installment of the BIG LEBOWSKI series of geocaches which derive inspiration from the cult classic movie and cultural phenomenon that is The Big Lebowski. Please see related web page link above for more info and, if you haven't already, I would highly recommend viewing the movie. Lebowski knowledge will greatly enhance your enjoyment of, and odds of finding, this cache.
In place of a description of the cache container itself, please allow me to set the scene. In the movie, our heroes, Walter and Dude, find themselves embroiled in a kidnapping/ransom plot in which the Nihilists, seeking one million dollars in ransom, receive only a satchel filled with Walter's dirty undies (the whites). Walter refers to this phoney money bag as "the ringer" and his plan is to keep the ransom money that was supplied for the exchange. Now it is the Nihilist's turn for payback and they have planted their own "ringer" at the coordiantes listed. Just like the ringer in the movie, things are not as they appear. There may be a lot of ins, a lot of outs and a lot of what-have-yous.
Check the attributes for more clues and come prepaired as the Nihilists are pretty crafty for a group of people who believe in nothing. You will know you've bested the Nihilists and found the ringer when you see, printed on the cache container, the one-word occupation listed for Jeffrey Lebowski on Geocaching.com (see public profile page). This clue may be rather difficult to see, Nihilists can be quite a pain. Original cache contents include several miniature Nihilistic action figures for trade.
