When the Trans Labrador Highway was built a lot of gravel pits
were opened to get fill and aggrates for the road bed.
Unfortunately for travelers who like to stop and take a break, look
for geocaches or birds, even have a break or a lunch most of them
have been closed off. This one is still easy to get into and a good
spot for a cache or a break.
