Geocache Description:

Vandretur ved fårefolden *** Sheep fold

Dele af strandengen afgræsses af får, der hjælper med at bevare landskabet, som ellers ville gro til og skifte karakter.

De fleste findere synes ikke at cachen er en multi, men meningen er at gå inde ved fårene, så derfor. Desuden er det nemt at finde udgangspunktet tæt ved caféen først, og her læse reglerne for besøg i fårefolden.

Her er en sjælden mulighed for at komme tæt på fårene, for man må gerne gå stilfærdigt ind hvor de græsser.
Dog ingen adgang med hund eller cykel.

Man kan nærme sig fårene med udgangspunkt ved Café Sylten, hvor der også er parkeringsplads, og afslutte ved cachens skjulested. - Eller man kan tage turen i modsat retning.

Når vejret har været regnfuldt, vil det være gavnligt med et par gummistøvler.

The sheep fold

Part of the area at the beach-meadow is grazed off by sheep, which helps to preserve the pasture, that otherwise would grow and change the nature og landscape.

Many have asked, why this is marked as a multi, and the reason is to get a good start near the café, and also to read the instructions for visiting the area with sheep.

Here is an opportunity to get close to the sheep, because it is allowed to walk quietly into the fold where they graze.

However, no access with a dog or a bicycle.

One can approach the sheep with the starting point at Café Sylten, where there is also a parking space, to end at the cache hiding place. - Or one can take the trip in the opposite direction.

When the weather has been rainy, a pair of rubber boots could be beneficial.
