Sleepy Eye State Park Traditional Cache
Way-pointer: Checked on this one and sorry to say, it is no longer there. I will not be replacing it as there seems to be a growing number of dead branches at ground zero. Thank you to everyone that made this hide fun. Sorry goes out to those at the end who searched in vain. God bless America!

Located in a busy park northwest of the town of Sleepy Eye. Bring your own pencil.
While no longer a Minnesota State Park, Sportsman's Park (as it is known today) has so much to offer. Amenities include access to the Sleepy Eye Lake hiking/biking trail, a boat launch, fishing docks, a playground, a large covered shelter, and excellent camping sites. Chief Sleepy Eyes, or ISH TAK HA BA, camped here back in the white man's pioneering days, around 1857. His remains are buried beneath a monument in the town of Sleepy Eye. You'll find the Depot Museum next to it that tells the history of the area, complete with interesting artifacts. Admission is free.
