Geocache Description:

N 52° 22.NE1  W 001° 59.WS0

The natural mathematician JW, who invented the number line and a mathematical symbol to go at one end, designed this 3 by 3 square. To solve it, place each of the numbers 1 to 9 in the square so that:

  • the 3 digit number in the top row is twice the 3 digit number in the bottom row

  • the centre square contains JW's mathematical symbol rotated by 90°

  • T is twice P but half H

Then use the contents of 2 by 2 to find good NEWS - an instance of the fingerpost at the listed co-ordinates points the way there.

This cache contains a square needed to find 4 by 4.
