Geocache Description:

Windsor to Wisemans Ferry (W2W Series)
.
Park & Grab - Swaps - Log - Easy

The Prince of Wales was a First Fleet transport ship of 350 tons, built on the River Thames in 1786. She was 31.4 metres in length. She was built by the firm Christopher Watson and co. of Rotherhithe, who are also thought to have built HMS Sirius in 1786.[1] She left Portsmouth on 13 May 1787, carrying one male and forty-nine female convicts, and arrived at Port Jackson, Sydney, Australia, on 26 January 1788.
.
A leisurely drive from Windsor - Wilberforce - Ebenezer - Lower Portland - Leets Vale - Webbs Creek to Wisemans Ferry. Just over 40km of back road following the Hawkesbury River. Part of the road is unsealed, but suitable for 2 wheel drive cars. ( Can be slippery if wet ) This series of caches passes through Bicentenary Road. So I have named the caches after each ship in the First Fleet. - I hope you enjoy the drive. Easy finds, plenty of swaps, can you get all eleven in the series? Good Luck.
