Geocache Description:

Today's phrase is.....

Pert Near (purt nir) adv : Slightly short of; not quite; nearly; almost; just about. Derived from the English words Pretty and Near. "I pert near lost my mind ahunting fer that durn cache." or "Mark Case has pert near caught up to me in cache finds, I better get a move on!"

The great thing about geocaching is that not only is it fun, but it can also be educational! As a service to our yankee friends who are transplanted here or who are just passing through, I bring you the Country Grammar series. Each cache in this series will present a new word from the Southernese language. For extra credit, try to work the word into your log entry. If you run into a muggle while at this cache, use the words you learn here and they will think you are one of them. The only way to become fluent is to put these words to use!

You're looking for a pill bottle, so bring your own pen. Use your own geocaching common sense at all times.
