Geocache Description:

Good views in all directions - sea, reservoir, moors, hills and more besides. We have chosen this spot, not only for the excellent views, but for you to discover a bit of history of which most people will be unaware. Access to the moor is from a small car parking area at the roadside with a small plaque which will explain the snippet of history for which the immediate area is famous. Further information for those interested on http://homepage.ntlworld.com/don.burluraux/rafdanby.htm
