Geocache Description:

Adelphi Terrace - You are hunting for a magnetic nano cache, containing log only (bring a pen)! Located on a historic side street near Charing Cross in central London.

Between the Strand and Embankment is a district called Adelphi, named after the now demolished neoclassical buildings, London's first of this kind. The southern facade of these 18th century rowhouses was then immediately overlooking the Thames, before land was reclaimed for what is now Embankment Gardens. Just to the SE of here is the terrace itself, overlooking the gardens and the river (use stairs at either end of the terrace to reach the gardens quickly).

This is also a regular filming location for television and movies, such as Primeval, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Doctor Who, and Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day. A particular door near GZ is often a fictional substitute for 10 Downing Street.
