Warmageddon. The Agony of de heat. 2012 Warm-Up Party.
I cannot remember a hotter summer. EVER. And now it is official.
I thought I might just be exaggerating, but the record books say
that the hottest recorded temperature in Little Rock was 113°F on
August 12, 1934. We broke that record today when the mercury hit
114° at 14:40 today at Little Rock International
Airport.
WOW.
NEWS UPDATE (08/04/11): Ashallond reports that Ft.
Smith reached 115°! According to
this link , Russellville also reached 114°, but was four
degrees shy of its record of 118°! According to this source ,
the city of Ozark holds the blazin' hot gold medal for a record
of 120°!
Well, one thing's for sure...the sun seems to favor the River
Valley, from Ft. Smith down to Little Rock!
Congratulations to The
Cacklers for the FTF!
