Geocache Description:

The Rumney School is named for George and Madge Rumney, who lived around the corner just past the point where Shady Hill Road changes its name.

The cache is not on school grounds. Even so, it would be better to seek the cache when students are not present. Let's not make parents nervous about lurking strangers.

George was Middlesex town moderator for many years. He and Madge had no children of their own, but took in many children who had no parents of their own.

Full disclosure: Madge was a descendant of Photino's triply greatgrandfather (GC21BWZ). One of Madge's kids once shot her husband, whose brother would later be elected governor. She had told him she would shoot him if he didn't get out of bed and go get a job. He didn't. She did. He had it coming. She didn't kill him--just winged him.
She did some time for aggravated assault, but it was probably worth it. After that, I'll bet people knew that she meant what she said.

Congratulations to gpicard and glimmereyes for being FTF.
