In the quiet city of Civezza, high in the mountains of Liguria.
15 minutes from San Lorenzo al Mare you find the quiet city of Civezza, high in the Ligurian Mountains. The last part of the journey has to be done on foot (or bike) since the roads are to small for most cars.
The Via Dante is part of the route from Rome to Santiago di Compostella, in Spain. A journey on foot of 3000 kms. A lot of Pilgrims have made this incredible journey and some are doing still.
The Via Dante runs through the middle of the city (you can't miss it) and crosses three nice squares. Off course there a lot places to have a good meal.
We stopped at one of the squares near a nice bar / restaurant were we had a great pizza. The boss (an elderly lady) was very kind. We had diner overlooking the valley, while the sun went down. Great! Oh, and beware of the nice looking cat of the restaurant. It bites ...
I had to place a cache here. While hiding it I found out that there was a cactus I did not see ... So be carefull (or take tweezers with you). I still have to put out all the thorns.
The cache consist of a small tupperware box with a small logbook and a pencil. Be carefull logging the cache. It can be crowded here.
