*** If possible please contact me in advance about possible maintenance - thanks! *** (Cache in the nice village of San Lorenzo al Mare, near the sea).
San Lorenzo al Mare is a very nice town at the Italian "Rivieira di Fiori" in Liguria. At has nice beaches where you can snorkle very well and where there are a lot different colourful fishes around. I even saw an octopus there! We always went to to the second beach (coming from Imperia) because there are more rocks there. Snorkling is best right of the dam on your left, were the water is sahllow and in front of the dam were it is deeper and were the visibility is normally better.
And San Lorenzo has a "Gellateria" were they have great icecream for small prices.
And if you just want to lie on the beach, San Lorenzo is also the place for you. Oh, and don't forget to stop at the local OK mart (up on the hill near Civezza). I never saw a smaller shop (from the outside) were the sold so many great (fresh) things. With very kind personel.
The cache is located near the river that leads to the sea. You don't have to dig for it. Just use your common sense ;-). The cache is a small container with a small log and pencil in it. There is room for small geocoins. Be careful logging the cache. It can be crowded here.
