The cache is a taped pill bottle, with a small prize included for the FTF. It is a fairly traditional hide. There is a log, but please BYOP.
Our family really likes the television show NCIS, and so we decided, after our 100th find, to hide a series of caches with that show's theme. There will be 7 caches in all: One each for Gibbs, Abby, Ducky, DiNozzo, McGee and David, and a final one that will "conclude" the series by finding the killer. Coordinates for the last one will be hidden in the character caches. We hope you enjoy our series!
NCIS Part III: Abby's K.I.S.S. Abigail "Abby" Sciuto is a brilliant forensic scientist who can figure out anything that comes into her lab. She has an affinity for Goth clothing, has some cool tats, and is totally addicted to the fictional brand "Caf-Pow", a caffeinated beverage of gigantic proportions (looks a LOT like a big gulp, or other huge drinks offered by the stores in gas stations). One of her favorite phrases is K.I.S.S., which stands for Keep It Simple, Stupid. We LOVE Abby, she's by far our favorite character. Because character she is....don't mess with her; she's smart, and TOUGH. And incredibly kind hearted to her fellow NCIS'ers. This cache is in a location that pays tribute to her CafPow addiction. This cache is a taped pill bottle, with coordinates to the final cache enclosed along with a log. BYOP.
Congrats to JDS for yet another FTF (5 of the first 6 of this series). Team Darkseid was a close second (apparently they even met up there), but the Ninjas were being very ninjaish on this one :-)
On 8/15/11 I checked this one out, as there had been a DNF reported. The cache had been moved slightly, but I found it and put it back in the original location. All should be well!
