This cache is placed to commemorate CasheNCarry's 1000th find.
IT IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
Therefore, do not go there unless you wish to stand in the middle of one of Rockford's busiest intersections.
The tradition of placing special caches to mark milestones within the geocaching community was introduced to the Chicago area by Special Ed & FallenFaery.
On 09/04/2011, the team known as CasheNCarry logged their 1,000th find on the cache GC8599 - Circle of Friendship (View their log here). Smurfy98 and I were on hand to witness the grand event. She and I have done a bit of caching with them at various times and the excursions are always fun.
Unlike most other traditional commemorative caches, this is a puzzle cache.
In order to find the cache and offer your congratulations to CasheNCarry, you have to solve the puzzle.
The cache is located at the following coordinates:
N AB° CD.EFG
W 0HI° JK.LMN
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
Congrats to CasheNCarry for Honorary FTF!!!
