Geocache Description:

This Cache is placed in the middle of an old town up on the hills of Rab (Barbat). See also the pictures of this listing.
I recommend to combine it with "Stari Grad - Have a view to it" and "Hidden hike path on Rab island". You should have the view to it before entering the town.

A long time ago the citizens of Rab have built some kind of a fortress up in the hills. You can find the ruins by doing "just a little walk". The Coordinates to the cache lead you to the highest point of the ruins.

I would be happy, if you to attach a photo of your visit to your log.
If you don´t want to make the whole tour, start at N 44°44.707 / E 014°47.520. Here you will find some more information about the ruins. The Street leading uphill will shortly turn into a rocky path. Just follow it straight up.
Anyhow - You do the tour on your own risk. Sport shoes are ok, but i Btx to wear at least trecking shoes. You have to walk on sharp-edged stones.

The container includes the following initial items: a logbook, a ball pen and the cache note to stay there ; Trade items are 4 little toy cars.
