Before Cranberry Pond Traditional Cache

A cache in the new Flat Brook WMA in West Stockbridge. Main parking is located at the kiosk just off Route 41. This is also parking for canoe access. From the kiosk follow the trail around Cranberry pond. The trail is about .7 mi. There is also limited parking and trail access about a quarter mile north on Route 41. The trail is new but follows an old road bed for much of it's length and has minimal elevation change. It makes for a pleasant walk in the woods. Not a loop so you will have to back track.
Resist the temptation to leave the trail and bushwhack. It will be about 40 feet off the trail when you get there.
