A cache in the new Flat Brook WMA in West Stockbridge. Main parking is located at the kiosk just off Route 41. This is also parking for canoe access. From the kiosk follow the trail around Cranberry pond. The trail is about .7 mi. There is also limited parking and trail access about a quarter mile north on Route 41. The trail is new but follows an old road bed for much of it's length and has minimal elevation change. It makes for a pleasant walk in the woods. Not a loop so you will have to back track.
A micro in the woods - sorry about that! It shouldn't be too hard. It's a match holder, not camo'd but neither is it orange. It is not in the clump of birches and spruces but is nearby about 40-50 feet off the trail.
